Tim is a native of Durban, South Africa who became a legend at NC State University.

There he was a three-time All-American and all-ACC pick. He was the CGAA 1996 National Freshman of the Year and won two NCAA Regional Individual titles, in 1996 and 1997. He won the 1997 Cardinal Amateur Championship (Greensboro, NC) when he played 54 holes without a bogey and finished 15-under-par 195 for a tournament record. He was also was named the 1997 ACC Player of the Year before moving on to the PGA Tour.

Tim is currently one of the hottest players on the PGA TOUR, but most people have probably overlooked him. Tim Clark's final round of even-par 72 at the Ford Championship at Doral ended a streak of 22 consecutive sub-par rounds for the South African. In those 22 rounds, Clark had 17 in the 60s.

In the past two years, Tim won the Scottish Open, finished T2 in the 2005 US Open and finished 2nd at the 2006 Masters. He has consistently placed between 14-20 in the World Golf rankings during the past two years.
