Livis Freeman Serves as Guest Speaker for the
Chatham County United Way Volunteer Appreciation Banquet
Siler City , N.C. – 4ourFans, Inc.’s CEO Livis Freeman served as the guest speaker for the 2007 Chatham County United Way Volunteer Appreciation Banquet. On Sunday, September 30, the Chatham County United Way recognized the 12 most outstanding community volunteers of the year.
"It felt great to be chosen as the guest speaker for this event. Reading the profiles of the volunteers being awarded has really inspired me to work even harder to give back in my own community," said Livis. "Most people look up to my clients and call them heroes, personally, these wonderful volunteers who give 30-50 hours of their time each week are my heroes!"
The event was held at the Silver Moose Lodge in Siler City, NC. The Sheriff of the Chatham County Police Department served as the MC, while the County Commissioner presented each volunteer with their awards. The Northwood High School Jazz band provided the musical entertainment for the event.
